With the fast development of timber flooring industry, various coatings for flooring materials are invented or improved again and again.Waxed ,oiled,UV finished are theree most common types coatings used on timber floor board surface.Particularly for UV coating,it has been the most widely used coating for timber flooring. As we know ,wood flooring is used to be step on everyday in our rooms, its surface must be very durable both in hardness and scratch resistance.

UV coating is so advantagous comparing with other types of coatings as it can produce a very strong film which is hard and durable enough to resist normal activities of the inhabitants in house. On the other hand, normal maintaince like sweeping, mopping is necessary for cleaning the timber flooring, therefore this would require UV coating layer to be water resistant, solvent resistant.According to labor test in the past few years,UV coating applied on timber flooring now is good enough to resist dampness and solvent corrosion.

Timber flooring UV coating is not the only type availlable in the market today ,however it must be the mostly used type for timber flooring. We can also find other type UV coating applied on Metal surface,Plastic surface etc.

The disadvantage of UV coating lies in roll marks resulted by roller machine during the application process, with more advanced technology the marks has been reduced as less visible than before although It still can not compare with spray coating process.

How does the UV coating application process works by the roller machine? Usually the whole Coating process is done by several machines, a roller,a UV lamp and moving belt. The whole UV curing process will be done continually on several machines,a moving belt will send the coated timber floor board from one machine to another machine.During the time of transportaion from one machine to another machine it allows the layer to dry up.
