Northeast China stops cutting of commercial timber from 1st April 2014

In order to protect the forest resouces in China, the state forestry administration issued an new policy that from 1st April 2014,the forest industry of Heilongjiang province where most of domestic timber logs come, stops cutting timbers for commecial use. 

The forestry industry region of Heilongjiang in Northeast China owns the largest

Stated-run forest in China.

This new policy would definitely have a sever impact on the wood flooring industry as the shortage of the timber resources would be unavoidable in the coming future..

Recently, the major reason for the increasing price of wood flooring is the impact of the timber material prices. Especially the high-end types of wood flooring, such as oak,ash,merbau,teak etc.
